Mal Riddle is pm3’s electrician and he sure sparks up our life, so when he came to us for a logo update, sparks went flying with excitement. Mal’s previous logo was kindly created by a mate of his and while Mal appreciated the first incarnation he was ready for a more professional look.

The brief was to retain the font and colours and update the graphic in the ‘o’.

the solution:

SOTA is the acronym for State of the Art Electrical which was was not obvious in the previous logo so we knew we wanted to include it in the new design.

We also wanted the graphic inside the ‘o’ to be a little more wired-like as a visual nod to the trade.
